Leave a Lasting Legacy

Consider including Project Imo in your will or estate plans by making a bequest. You also have the option to designate Project Imo as the beneficiary of your retirement fund or an insurance policy. If you’re interested in leaving a lasting legacy with Project Imo, please get in touch with us at TeamImo@projectimo.org and collaborate with your estate planner to make the necessary arrangements.

Tax-Free IRA Distributions

If you are aged 70.5 or older, you have the opportunity to fulfill your mandatory distribution requirement from your traditional or Roth IRA without incurring federal income tax. These distributions can add up to $100,000 each year. To arrange this and inform Project Imo about your intentions, consult with your tax professional and contact us at TeamImo@projectimo.org.

Give in honor or memory

A contribution is a heartfelt gesture to celebrate the a loved one, commemorate a birthday, or mark a significant life event. Whether you want to honor your teacher, a mentor in your life, or a nature enthusiast, gifts of any size can be designated “in tribute to” or “in memory of” someone special.To inform Project Imo of your intentions, please get in touch with us at TeamImo@projectimo.org.

Project Imo will ensure that your gift is acknowledged to the honoree. In Project Imo’s annual report, both the donor and the honoree will receive recognition

Corporate Matching Programs

Numerous companies provide matching gift programs to inspire their employees to support charitable causes. Many of these programs match contributions on a one-to-one basis, and some may even triple or double your generous gift. Reach out to your Human Resources department to obtain the relevant matching gift form. Even if you’re retired, remember that your former employer might still match your donation.

A pledge is a formal statement of intention to make a gift. Pledges help Project Imo forecast revenue and plan accordingly. Project Imo accepts one-time or multi-year pledges in writing. To make a pledge, contact TeamImo@projectimo.org.
